JL Billet is a premiere manufacturer of some of the best refined, hardest working AR platform rifles in the country. Machined in the US, we chose them to do 100% of our production machine work on the chassis and valve systems, giving us an extremely high quality finish from the start with zero manufacturing returns.
Off The Grid Surplus is a San Diego based clothing company specializing in adventure driven clothing for motorsports enthusiasts. We live in these pants, and have them as our official-unofficial uniform for events and our testing. We would never be caught dead in embroidered polos tucked into 5.11 pants, so instead we wear on the job the same thing we wear off the job.
Aqualung is a legendary dive brand that really influenced us from childhood with the adventures of Jacques Cousteau onward. We are fortunate to have relationships within the company, who’s North American operation is based here in San Diego county, and we developed some of our early projects hand in neoprene glove with them. We wear almost exclusively Aqua Lung gear while conducting testing and developing our products and all of our first generations of systems were equipped with all Aqua-Lung air systems. Another great example of us standing on the shoulders of giants.
Oak Street Design is a commercial gear sewing company out of Scappoose, Oregon manned (actually, womanned) by the longtime employees of USIA. These folks have been an absolute pleasure to work with over the years, supplying us with American made soft goods for our projects, including the lift bags themselves, deployment bags, accessory bags and myriad other parts as well. From prototyping to final product, their attention to detail matches our own and we love working with this team of perfectionists.
Avid off road racing and motorsports enthusiasts, STT and Two Frogs Racing have been using Powertank CO2 inflation products for many years. For the solution to the proprietary quick disconnect hose supply connectors, STT is leveraging Powertank’s “Monster Valve” technology for a perfect solution to a niche challenge.
